#20 What's your I.D

"I see the company when I see their logo"

Every company has a trade mark. This are the belongings of a company that cannot be used by another. And if used without their approval or permission, the tresspasser(s) can be punished under the law. So likewise, should everyone of us have our own trademark. And to be frank with you, we are all unique beings. We are different from one another. But every body will keep looking alike if we can't take time to identify this uniqueness of ours and OWN THEM!

If you haven't been standing(representing) for something before now, I want you to turn a new leaf. Or worse case, you have been repping the wrong things; you've got to make some U-turns right away. After that, you need to now sit down with yourself and put down the things you want to be known for and identified with. Don't think trademarks, Logos or a company's reputation just fall out of the blues. Of course they don't, rather, they are built! You need to build your ID.

You were to represent something to the world. C'mon, you are not here for decorations or just for head count. There is more to your been here, and you've to find it. Nobody will do that finding for you, you've got to do it by yourself. Those attributes that came with your package were there for some reasons. And you should know those whys. So I will ask you again, what's your ID???

#26 WORK PLACE STRESSES 1 ( Do what you love)

"If you don't love what you do... Then you need to leave doing them!" One of my mentor, Daniel Akpata anchors a program here in Lagos, Nigeria called "Late Nite." When callers calls in; they are tasked to answer 4 questions. And the last of those questions is "what do you do for a living." Back to this post, you need to start shaping stress out of your life. And where we spend most of our time as adults, is on our work or let me say at our workplaces. If you don't believe me, you could do the calculations yourself. So, this is why it is a smart move to do a work you love. It is of utmost importance to see to it, that you do what you love and have passion for. My mum is a teacher, and she works with a government owned school (public schools); one thing I noticed about her, is that she love the work she does. She never for once complain about the work, despite having issues betimes with some of her co-teachers. But I don't think she kno...
